It is Thanksgiving week here in the U.S.
Despite the complicated history of the holiday, we are appreciative of the excuse to give thanks for the people that have helped bring Flame Tree to where it is today.
We are thankful for Mzuzu University and our many Malawi partners who have helped us shape and grow this organization over the years.
We are thankful for our donors who sustain our programs and have invested so much in our success.
We are thankful for the guidance and inspiration of the many organizations around the world that are creating, aiding, and persisting in the fight to end extreme poverty. They face the world’s challenges head on and are unafraid to do what is needed, even in the toughest of circumstances.
We are thankful for our staff and collaborators who have helped us build Flame Tree into the kind of organization that we can believe in. We would not be where we are today without the countless hours dedicated to our partners and our mission.
Lastly, we are thankful for our family and friends. Their unwavering support over the years has been an integral part of our success and it continues to be a source of strength and reason as we move forward.
We are fortunate to have so much to be thankful for this season. From our Flame Tree family, we wish you all the best and hope your week, holiday or no holiday, is filled with inspiring people and a grateful mindset.
Until Next Time,
